Power veggie !!!

I think brussel sprouts could be my favorite vegetable with asparagus being a close second. Baking brussel sprouts is probably my favorite side dish to put with any meal. The best part is that it is quick and so so simple to add.

You first take your raw brussel sprouts and give them a good rinse.

Then cut off the bottoms and take off any leaves on the outside that are bruised or limp.

Then put on a baking pan drizzle with olive oil add some salt and pepper and mix them up with your hands to coat the brussel sprouts.

Cook in a 350 degree oven for about 15-20 minutes. They will sizzle and look smokey for a little bit, but be patient grasshopper the pay off is totally worth it.

When you take them out they will be bright green and soft looking. They will also have some brown spots on them, but that's the best part!!!

Enjoy !!!
