muffin tin dinner rolls

I hate getting rolls, biscuits, buns, or anything out of a tube. I know I know you may be thinking, "Kaleena you are such a snob!" But seriously it gives me sincere pleasure to know when I have made something from scratch. The reason why I post so much about making as much as you can from scratch is because it is far easier than most think. All you have to do is plan. Planning ahead can do wonders for anyone who is trying to have a healthy diet. Planning ahead allows you to have moderation and have supremely healthy meals.

Oh and one more thing healthy does not have to mean disgusting, gross, bland meals!!!

These muffin tin dinner rolls are perfect to add with any stew, soup, or chili. You start by dissolving 2 tbs of sugar, 1 packet of yeast, in 2/3 cup of warm water. Let the yeast water mixture sit for about 10 minutes until it gets bubbly.

Put 1 3/4 cup flour and 3 tbs of butter melted. Then add the yeast water mixture to the dry ingredients. Then cover the dough for 1 hour. Then punch the dough down and cover for 10 more minutes. Then put 3 tbs in each muffin tin then cover for another 20 minutes with tea towel.

Then brush with some beaten egg yolk and pop in the oven for 20 minutes at 400 degrees.

Enjoy !!!
