Thai BBQ Shrimp

I am a huge fan of these shrimp. I wish I could make them twice a week, but i think my husband may have an issue with it. They are delicious, spicy, and healthy too. It's best to do these with uncooked, deveined, shell on shrimp. They have the most flavor and work perfectly once these shrimp have been marinating for a bit. Then placing them on skewers and broiling them for 5 minutes on each side makes for a perfect meal.

Take one pound of shrimp that have been cleaned, deveined, and have had the shell removed. Add in 3 tbs of Dijon mustard, 2 tbs of minced garlic, 2 tbs of brown sugar, 2 tbs of tandoori paste, and the juice of one lemon.

Cover it with saran wrap and let it marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Then place them on skewers that you have pre-soaked so they don't burn. This is especially important if you plan to grill them. Do 8-9 shrimp per person. I made these in the middle of February last time I made them so I broiled them in the oven at 500 degrees for about 5 minutes on each side.

Serve them up with some vegggies and brown rice and you have yourself a complete meal !!

Enjoy these flavorful shrimp soon ...

Enjoy !!!
