Snickerdoodle Cake

Adapted from: My Baking Addiction

If you are a fan of the solid oldie goldie cinnamon sugar combination this cake is a recipe you must try. I have always loved cinnamon and sugar. It's horrible.....if I am going to have something sweet it will for sure have cinnamon and sugar. It's a classic combination. I even love something as simple as cinnamon sugar toast. You should try it sometime. Toast up some bread, cream up some cinnamon and sugar with some butter, and spread it on.

The Pioneer Woman came up with this awesomely fantastic way to here ..

Start off by combining 1 cup of sugar with 2 tbs of cinnamon.

Sift together 2 1/2 cups of all purpose flour, 1 tsp of baking powder, 1/2 tsp of baking soda, and a 1/2 tsp of salt.

Then grab your bundt pan. Spray it with Baker's Joy and sprinkle some of the cinnamon sugar mixture.

Then beat together 1 cup of softened butter until it gets creamy. Then add 1 cup of white sugar and 1 cup of light brown sugar.

Keep beating it until it looks pretty and sugary like you see below.

Then add 3 eggs, one at a time until the mixture is very creamy and smooth.

Then add 2 tsp of vanilla extract.

Then add 1 cup of full-fat sour cream.

Mix the sour cream through then add your flour mixture. Fold it in until you have a smooth cake batter.

Spoon in half of it to your bundt cake. Then sprinkle half of the extra cinnamon sugar mixture you did early on.

Then add the rest of the batter. Then sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon sugar mixture on top.

Pop it into a 325 degree oven for about 55 minutes. Let it cool for about 15 minutes. Turn it over onto a cake plate. Sprinkle with some powdered sugar and get ready to make some wonderful friends.

Enjoy !!!
